ABOUT ALESIA CHAIKA ART & STYLE ACADEMY
ART – FASHION – INSPIRE!
Founded by fashion designer Alesia Chaika, the Art & Style Academy is an inspiring place for children and adults to develop creative thinking, taste, and spirituality through fine art and fashion design private classes. Here, we believe that all children are born with creative genius.
The main reason most people do not function at genius levels is that they are not aware of how creative and intelligent they truly are, and their creative capabilities are never nurtured. At the Art & Style Academy, learn the different styles of visual art, discover your talents, and know that everything you want will come to fruition through love and passion for what you do.
We are passionate about inspiring children and adults in Fine and Applied Art as well as Fashion Design and Timeless Style through imagination, inspiration, learning, and fun. We offer classes in:

Each inspiring, high-quality class allows children and adults to build valuable knowledge and express themselves and their talents so they may grow into creative, compassionate, elegant human beings. Our visual art and fashion programs provide students with lifelong skills and innovative private education in wearable art and design, appreciating the beauty of nature, drawing fundamentals, lighting, shade, shadow, composition, color theory, and design principles.
Painting and drawing are key forms of artistic expression that play an important role in children's physical, emotional, and spiritual development. Students will study different cultures, the most incredible masterworks, the history of art and fashion, and the dynamics of fashion, fashion and product photography, as well as esthetics. They will learn how to implement good taste in graphic, surface, and fashion design; personal style, and branding. Our private classes will show students how to live by their inner knowledge and strength to be successful in any aspect of their lives.
At the end of the five-month program, final artworks, wearable art, and assignments will be displayed at the Student's Art Exhibition, Fashion Show and Art & Style Academy Certificate of Completion Ceremony.
OUR MISSION
At the Art & Style Academy, our mission is to enhance students’ living and learning. We want our students to express their talents and individuality through fine and applied arts, fashion and design, developing spirituality, valuable knowledge, creative skills and vision, concentration and focus, elegance, good manners, and taste. These are important lessons they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
PROGRAMS
Each private art and fashion program is 5 months long (20 weeks), and students will learn an Art & Style Academy Certificate of Completion from Alesia Chaika for their achievements.
We offer an evaluation class for first-time students, so class instructors can evaluate their level of creativity and students can decide whether the program is a good fit.
FOUNDER'S STORY
Why am I opening the private Art & Style Academy for children and adults?
I grew up in a family of visual artists and creative masterminds. My parents met at a college for art and higher culture. Following high school, I attended a music school for over nine years, playing piano and cymbals. I went on to earn a master’s degree in speech pathology and taught classes in piano, music theory, visual and wearable art. I learned drawing, painting, sculpting, ceramics, and the art of dressmaking from my grandmother and my parents, all visual artists. My daughter attended art school in Europe. After I came to the US in 2005, I searched for an art school for my daughter in Orland Park, Illinois, but at that time I could not find a good art school for her in the area. There were no private classes available to teach her art, etiquette, good manners, and style principles. She went to public school and lost her connection to her creativity during that time.
This inspired my mission to open students' minds, hearts, and souls to beauty, creativity, taste, elegance, and design, so they may express their talents and individuality, developing soft skills and creative thinking in the younger generation and throughout our community.
I would like to pass on my knowledge and creative experience to future generations. I compare myself to a jug full of water that spills over; I am a vessel for knowledge of life and various types of art, music, and fashion. I want to share all of this with my students, inspiring them to do good for themselves and the world.
