CERAMICS FINE ART on Thursday 5:30 PM Students Ages 3–10

This program provides an introductory exposure to the history of visual art of ceramics and a beginning level experience in the use of clay as a fine art medium. Explore the joy and magic of ceramic fine art, both the functional and sculptural ceramic traditions with the guidance and inspiration of talented visual artist, graphic designer and wonderful instructor Mindaugas Braslauskas.

Beginner, intermediate, and advanced students will be given individual attention as they learn:

• ceramics fundamentals and tools
• media and forming techniques
• surface development and glazing  
• shape and color
• subject and composition
• klin firing practices
• texture of ceramic art
  

Students will develop and improve their ceramics skills. Discover prehistoric art, the history of art, and how to look at art.

Art supplies will be provided at every class. Prepare your one-of-a-kind ceramic artworks for the final New Year Student Art Exhibition and Fashion Show! At the end of the session, receive the Art & Style Academy Certificate of Completion.

Ceramics classes are every Thursday 6 pm- 7 pm

First time students registration one time fee: $25
